Event Information On The Cowboy Breakfast
January 28th, BAMC Delivery
January 28th, the Thursday morning, we are planning on delivering 3,300 tacos, 500 biscuits and gravy, and 160 dozen tamales to the Brooks Army Hospital to the wounded warriors and their families, and their support staff to show our support and appreciation. This will be taking place at 7:30 AM and we have volunteers that will be serving.
On top of this Santikos Theater has donated 1,000 movie tickets,
and Pioneer Flour Mill is donating several cases of frozen biscuits for their future use.
A really big thanks to all the following donors that made this happen: Jordan Ford for supplying the transportation and drivers, Kiolbasso Sausage (chorizo), Pruski's Market (country sausage),Rudy’s BBQ (chopped brisket tacos), Pioneer Flour Mill (biscuits and gravy and frozen biscuits), Delicious Tamales (tamales), and Mission Foods (tortillas).
Cowboy Breakfast January, 29th
Starting at 4:30 AM
This year we are proud to have “Pistol Packin Paula”, courtesy of Enchanted Springs Ranch, help MC the main stage. Also for the first time ever, a couple has asked to be married at the breakfast, so this event is scheduled for 7:45 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. Along with the live bands performing on both stages, we will have a mechanical bull (for anyone brave enough to try their luck), and the celebrity cow chip throwing contest at 7:00 A.M. For a complete list of food being served, please visit the Food Page.

A Big Thanks To Our Volunteer's
The 32th Anniversary Cowboy Breakfast is dedicated to the Donors, Sponsors, and Volunteers. It is because of the work of the volunteers, the Cowboy Breakfast is the success that it is. It is you, the volunteer, the sponsor and donor, with the help of the media that turn this grand idea into the great success story of San Antonio and South Texas. Think back to some of the cold weather days, of ice and rain, freezing temperatures, yet you never backed away, always showing up with a smile and a helping hand to serve and entertain the gathering crowd. Remembering, that many of the people that come are executives, business owners, military officials or politicians, as well as families and their children.
They all come to experience a bit of the pioneer life, braving the elements like those early day cowboys that ate, slept and worked all day in the open air. Look at us now! We went from a handful of people to a full blown operation with over 500 volunteers helping to make the Cowboy Breakfast bigger and better every year. We have formed The Cowboy Breakfast Foundation, a not-for-profit 501c3 to award limited scholarships. This has been and will continue to be a united effort by all of those involved. We can not make this event happen without you. So we say, "Thanks a million" to you, the volunteers, donors, sponsors and media for all that each of you contribute to the success of The Cowboy Breakfast!
Thank you!!
